If you are bringing your electric car to Bute, there is one public charging point on the island. You can find it at Guildford Square in Rothesay, in the car park right across from the Calmac Ferry Terminal. Although the charging point is free, the car parking fees apply: 15 minutes: 30p 30 minutes: 50p 45 minutes: 80p 60 minutes: £1 *** correction: 14/4/19 – Good news! Council does not charge car parking fees for charging!

Parking restrictions apply, Monday – Saturday, 09.00 -18.00.
