Women’s Sea Kayak Festival

This event is now sold out. The WSKF is an annual festival is returning to Bute for the fifth time. The event is run by a small team of volunteer organisers and this year there are 45 participants who are coming to the island from all over the UK (even from Netherlands and Norway!) What is a "Ballianlay Tea"?  These events run for 3 months during the summer, and feature tea (or coffee) and fantastic home baking. All is produced by the members of the Scottish Women's Instituted - Ballianlay Branch. Tea, scones, and local #ButeHospitality, in a fantastic setting only 5 miles from Rothesay  -what's not to like?  But go along early, before all the best cakes get eaten! T’ai Chi For Health

Take time out to learn a basic form of T'ai Chi consisting of easy to follow movements as designed by Dr Paul Lam in his T'ai Chi for Health series.  This simple form was developed to introduce people to a gentle way of exercise and it is therefore suitable for everyone.
